Questions, answered straight
Everything the concierge desk gets asked about Crown Perth stays — grouped by topic and answered the way we'd tell you at the desk. Can't find yours? The contacts page reaches a human.

Reservations & rooms
Booking mechanics, room categories and what gets confirmed in writing.
Weekends: 4–8 weeks out for good category choice. Event dates —
stadium concerts, finals, headline musicals — book as early as the date is known. Midweek stays
are far more forgiving, often fine inside a fortnight.
Yes — 'high floor, river aspect, away from lifts' is our standard
request and is lodged in writing with your reservation. The hotel confirms allocation closer to
arrival; our flag means your preferences are in the file, not a wish.
Metropol is contemporary, connected directly to the casino
escalators, and the best value for most stays. Towers is the grand tier — larger rooms, the
flagship spa, villas and butler service. Both sit on the same precinct.
Both are arranged wherever occupancy allows — early check-in from
11am and checkout to 1pm are routinely confirmed for our guests. When the room isn't ready, we
organise luggage storage and interim access to the pool or lounges.

Casino & nightlife
Entry rules, dress codes and how the floor works — detailed coverage in our etiquette guide.
Smart casual: covered shoes, no singlets or workwear after 7pm, no
sporting uniforms. The premium salons skew sharper — polished footwear and dinner-appropriate
clothing is the reliable standard.
Always. Gaming floor entry is 18+ and ID is checked — passport or
Australian driver licence only. A photo of your licence does not qualify.
Rooms like the Pearl Room operate on membership and hosted entry —
Crown assesses eligibility against play criteria. We submit enquiries confidentially and can
outline the pathway honestly before you commit.
Yes — Crown operates an on-site Responsible Gaming Centre, and
Gambling Help Online is free on 1800 858 858, 24/7. Pre-commitment tools and self-exclusion are
available and normalised.

Dining & reservations
Tables, dietary needs and the booking windows that actually matter — more in the restaurant guide.
Three to four weeks out for standard tables; omakase counter seats
need longer and are requested specifically. Last-minute, we work the restaurant's cancellation
list directly — succeed more often than the app suggests.
Yes — allergies and preferences are lodged with the kitchen in
writing at booking, not mentioned at the table. Every precinct venue accommodates halal, vegan and
coeliac requirements properly.
All restaurants are open to the public — no hotel stay or casino
visit required. Our reservation service works identically for visitors staying elsewhere in Perth.
Casino-adjacent venues run to the floor's hours, and Metropol room
service operates 24 hours — the precinct never truly leaves you hungry at 2am.

Families, pets & parking
The practical questions — kids, dogs, cars and the logistics between them.
Very — pools, buffet dining, connecting rooms and the riverside
location all work for families. Only the gaming floor is 18+. Our family staycation guide covers the playbook.
Vetted sitters can be arranged through the desk with 48 hours
notice — longer on event weekends. Rates and carer details are confirmed in writing before you
rely on them.
Valet parking at the porte-cochère is the smoothest option and
often cheaper than self-parking once you factor the walk; multi-storey self-parking is free for
guests on most stays. EV charging is available on-site.
Crown Metropol accommodates assistance animals; for companion pets
we arrange vetted boarding and pet-stay options nearby — tell us the animal and the dates and we
will give you a straight answer.

Money & cancellations
Deposits, refunds and how pricing actually lands — full policy at Refunds.
A deposit or card guarantee confirms most bookings; balances
follow the supplier's schedule. Your written quote states amounts and dates — nothing is charged
before you see them.
Each element follows its own deadline — hotels typically 24–72h on
flexible rates, dining 24–48h, tickets generally final. We always try re-timing first; suppliers
are more flexible about dates than refunds.
Simple bookings price at or near public rates — suppliers
compensate us. Where a planning fee applies, it is quoted separately and visibly. You will never
find a hidden margin inside a room rate we placed.
Yes — AUD bank transfer is accepted for confirmed bookings
alongside all major cards. International transfers are welcome; your bank sets the conversion
rate.
